A Spring Thanks.

Firstly, thank you to all the first responders and healthcare workers around the world working tirelessly to protect us, and for putting your own health at risk. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed.

I would also like to send my thanks to the businesses, their leaders and teams, that are working rapidly and with all of their intelligence to harness the unique powers that their businesses may possess, to help during these times.

As business leaders, we have a responsibility to ensure that our companies are doing their part to help the global community travel through these times of pressure. We also have a responsibility to look at our businesses in unique and creative ways to uncover new ways that we may be positioned to help. An encouraging example is how various manufacturing companies are immediately pivoting to help make surgical masks in order to assist the fight against COVID-19.

Legal businesses must also do their part. Legal businesses and Lawyers are uniquely positioned to help support and guide. During these times, a guiding light can make a world of difference.

I would also like to share the following thought in hopes of reminding us all of how vulnerable our older adult population is at this time. Statistically, COVID-19 poses an existential threat to older adults. We must remember that it is this population that helped design and build the platforms that we have enjoyed for so long. Without them, we would not have been able to accomplish all of the amazing things that we have. Today, they need our focus, support, thoughts and prayers more than ever.

Stay safe and healthy, Spring is just around the corner!
